Welcome to the Performing Research Network.
We are a new network for theatre makers and academic researchers. This is a space to support, collaborate and share results of partnership working between theatre makers and researchers.
The network is run by Cap-a-Pie – a Newcastle based theatre company who has been working with academic researchers at Newcastle University to co-create theatre productions and community projects since 2012. We’ll be sharing our learning from our collaborations with academic researchers on this site and would love it if other artists or academics would like to share anything from their projects – see submissions for more details.
If you’d like to hear about what we’ve been up to please sign up to follow this blog.
A space for sharing ideas, news, interesting articles, calls for collaborators, funding calls etc.
A space for sharing outputs from collaborations between theatre makers and researchers. This could be academic or creative outputs, project reports, evaluations or anything that sums up your project.
A space to tell other who you are and what you do! We’ll create profiles for anyone who submits something to the blog or outputs sections of the website.
To submit something to the site check out our submissions guidance.
